Hyun Bin-"That Man" & Baek Ji young "That Women"

The song "That Man"is a male version of  an OST from the korean drama Secret Garden and is sung by the lead actor Kim Hyun Bin. It plays off one side of the a duet songs.The song tells about a man who tries to work his way into a girl's heart but doesn't earn it. He confesses that the man is him and the girl still moves "two steps back".This song made #1 on music charts in five days on its release.Hyun Bin's voice give the song true meaning by showing the passion through his voice. After this song was released, his popularity rose up cause of his romatic voice. This song has no music video, but with the songs popularity it is known through out the Korean entertainments. People love to serainated these songs to their lovers.

For "That Women" its the same as Hyun Bin's version but instead of man it says woman. This song is also an OST from the drama Secret Garden, but sung by a Korean singer, Baek Ji Young."That Women" shows off the femmen side to the song .Even though ,this song is the origainal its not as popular as "That Man", people still like it. None of these people are its original writers but even so they still show the writer's feelings through their voices.

Both songs are great cause it show a deep lyrical meaning about love and the song is a song for people could sing to their girl/boyfriends. Personally I like it, cause when ever I listen to it makes me think about that special someone I want to have in my life. Hopefully people will break down the language barrier and accept this song as any other song.

#6 R.I.P. Heavy D

On November 8 2011, rap legend Heavy D died at the age of 44. Before he the rapper tweeted "Be Inspired." Even though i never heard any of his songs and know nothing about him, so i did my research. Heavy was known for his playful nature and was also know to inject insightful lyrics and socially conscious messages in his songs. Even though he was "oversize" he embraced it.People say, "He was romantic and inspirational", and how he was "a big-boy playboy". He turned the look of a oversize rapper out from a gimmick. He also made it easier for other oversize rappers, such as Biggie Smalls, to make it into main stream.

In the song "Self Destruction" ,in which he said:
A-yo, here's the situation: idodicy
Nonsense,violence,not a good policy
Therefore,we must ignore,fightin' and fussin'
Heavy's at the door so there'll be no bum-rushing.
This song was made after two people were shot and later was revised into the 2008 version and a 2009 version.

Heavy D wasn't afraid to tell the world he's over weight so he wrote a song called "The Oversized Lovers In The House".

Even though Heavy was popular he only won one award. Last month he appeared on the BET Hip Hop Awards,his return to mainstream in over fifth-teen years. In september he released his ninth album. If only I found out about Heavy earlier,because just reading stuff about him and how he influenced hip hop and over weight people he's like a hero to people. To wrap things up, on November 8, hip hop one of its noticeable icons. To conclude this blog all I want to say is R.I.P. Heavy D, you will be miss.

Music Passion

I decided to make this  blog about music, because I believe each song holds a deep meaning.Every time I listen to music, I feel like im in my own world. Music is a big influence in me, because my mom always worked and my brother always had my dad, so all I had was music. When I was in elementary my friends and I started our own little boy band. We lasted for about one year until one of my friend moved away, so we eventually faded away.  Ever since the brake up my passion for music was the most important thing in my life. 

People don't know this but music is every where and a big part of life. Without music, life would be a dull world.  I hope to make people aware that music isn't something that has "slapping" beats. Its something people spend hours and hours writing to show their emotions to show other people secretly in the lyrics. So this blog is used to show people meaningful lyrics and to give people songs to listen to in any situation. Also just to give people songs to listen to whenever they feel down or just something that just makes you wanna dance.
